Are You Ready for Small Business Saturday?

sbscorporateFTD is proud to be a corporate sponsor of Small Business Saturday. Held each year on the day after Black Friday, Small Business Saturday is the perfect opportunity for shoppers to visit and support local establishments – like yours! – during the busy holiday gifting season and throughout the year.

Launched on November 27, 2010, by American Express, Small Business Saturday has grown by leaps and bounds. According to a survey commissioned by American Express and the National Federation of Independent Business, more than 95 million people took part in Small Business Saturday in 2015, spending a total of more than $16 billion.

ofa_shopsmallHave you taken advantage of the Small Business Saturday resources available from American Express? At ShopSmall.com/GetReady, you’ll find the Shop Small Studio, which enables you to quickly create free downloadable custom materials for your storefront, website and social networks. You can also find articles, videos and tips in the Small Business Saturday 101 section of the site.

In the spirit of Small Business Saturday, we want to thank the FTD Member Florists who make FTD what it is today. You’re a diverse group. You’re located in big, bustling cities and small towns. Some of you are brand new to the business while others have been raised in it. What unites you all is your dedication to your local communities. Small Business Saturday honors that dedication and all that you do around the year to delight and inspire your customers. We wouldn’t be FTD without you.
